As I've said, I'm tech illiterate. I have to be lead by the hand, and go step by step. New Alderaan will not go multiple instance for me. If Rissa pulls her small house and moves it, it can't even be transferred to an alt for them to drop. I need multiple instances. Had Rissa on and tried to log on new alt. Said I had another in use and drops me to desktop.

I've looked, counted the three check boxes (as per Desporo). Clicked them all...:) Even added sentinalsgalaxy.servegame.com to SWGEmu Launcher where Multiple Instances is tagged. About ready to give up, but I'm hard headed. Not stupid, just not tech oriented. So I keep plugging. I'm addicted to Star Wars.

Or just forget computer games and do all the craft stuff I've had for ages waiting for me.

In your (SREmu) folder where your game is there should be a CFG file named "user" the contents should look like this.

[ClientGame]
0fd345d9 = true

[ClientUserInterface]
debugExamine=1

[ClientLimits]
SetFramesPerSecond=60

[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true

Change this part to 0 and you won't get all that click spam :)

Didn't see an Edit button, so will put it here.

I was missing the client frame rate per second 60; added it. Also added:

[SwgClient] allowMultipleInstances=true

Appreciate the help.

Old thread...I know...ffwd to the future...its now 2025....Trump has bombed Iran and we haven't descended into WW3 and total annihilation...however...

The Old SR server is gone....we now answer to SR2...the launcher is not compatible with W7 or anything earlier. The first (SR2) launcher still works...the upgrade launcher is broken...what can we do?

Use the first launcher luke! The first launcher still works luke!........oh ya but it didn't put this user.cfg file in it because "they" are pushing everyone to the new broken (SR2) launcher.

So...we use the old launcher...ba-bam...no multiple instances (because no user.cfg file)...DOH...insert copy from first working computer using original launcher and multiple instances....voila! Multiple instances.

However the 'new' user.cfg file is not as it used to be....so here is a copy under the first SR2 launcher that may or may not need to be inserted.

[ClientLimits]
SetFramesPerSecond=60

[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true

[ClientGraphics]

constrainMouseCursorToWindow=false

.
