I know lately it seems the game takes longer to load, so I've been searching for ways to tweak the settings to make it better.

Do these changes make just the initial load in faster or does it affect load times every time you have one from traveling? Also, do you notice a difference in world generation (flora showing, mobs generating on the map, etc.) as you drive around?

I haven't noticed a difference in the traveling, but I haven't really paid attention. As far as I can tell, it only helps the loading times.
