Schematic Availability

I figured I would post here as my question can involve any type of crafting.

If I learn a looted schematic as a master crafter, for example Cybernetic Legs at Master Droid Engineer, will I completely lose that schematic if I drop my Droid Engineer skills (I understand that I will most likely lose the ability to craft it, but will it be totally lost even if I re-grind up to Master again)?

You will not lose the schematic and I think you will still be able to craft the item, but you won't be able to experiment on the item without the appropriate skill.

But you won't lose the learned schematic if you untrain the skill.

You will not lose the schematic and I think you will still be able to craft the item, but you won't be able to experiment on the item without the appropriate skill.
