Is there a comprehensive list of the abilities and changes to the carbineer class specifically? I know its gimped from the start coming from SWGemu but I have seen changes already occurring to the class. Most notably so far is the addition of a carbines tree within Commando.

Laugh as you want, but I'm trying out this build. Msmuggler, MCarbs, and xxx4 of commando to give it a try for shits n giggles. Faction grind, selling spice, slicing weapons, and some downtime from combat.

The xxx4 tree of commando is carbines specifically, with most notably the decrease of crippling shot from a 5x multiplier to a 4.5x multiplier in the carbineer tree. This class needs all the help it can get currently, but a nerf occurring to it doesn't help much unless they're bigger plans at play. I've noticed as well that fullautosingle1 does a variety of debuffs, ranging from stun, blind, and dizzy.

Let me know of what your carbineer class build is here and your reasoning behind it. As well as any changes I may not have mentioned just yet.

Now, I want to preface this by saying that Carb was never, ever meant to be a solo class (though one could argue that none of the combat classes were). This can be seen in the lay out of the skill tree and what sort of abilities and skills the Carbineer has access too. And little can be done to change that, less there is a complete over-haul of the class.

Now, that being said, Carbineer is arguably the Highest DPS of any of the ranged classes. Again, look at the skill layout and the weapon designs. Most carbines are a second or 2 slower than a Pistol, but carry almost twice the damage, and in some cases, some of the carbines are on pace to rival a few of the rifles as far as raw damage is concerned. Pair that with counter-attack, some really powerful AoE attacks, and the ability to land some pretty hard hitting single target attacks, and you have a Beast. But, you need someone to suck up the damage.

Now, traditionally, I've seen most Carb builds paired with Master Sword and various levels of Medic and scout. This lends a bit of defense and increased Counter Attack chances, and you really need the heals. Scout I guess is just a point sink and lets you do something with the copses.

Looking at what you have there, I think you need to forgo the smuggler entirely. Just build a Msmug/MTK for that. I would recomend changing that build to MCarb/ Sword 3x4x/Mando 4xx4 as you seem to be looking at dealing some serious damage. Niether your current build or this one is going to do well in a solo environment, but the one listed here will increase your DPS and survivability. And, in a group, you'll probably out damage most of your team mates.

Your other option is to forego Sword entirely, and dump the points into medic. You'll lose some defense and Counter Attack, but you'll stay up longer if you're running missions.
