Pet Targeting and /tellpet

Hi all,
Question for the other creature handlers out there. I notice when having multiple pets out that if I target a specific named pet and then use the /tellpet command, it does the command for all pets.
e.g. All 3 pets are currently in place with the stay command. I select one of the pets and then type /tellpet Follow. All 3 pets follow me.
Also noticed that if I try including the name of the pet in the /tellpet command it doesn't work either.
e.g. All 3 pets are currently in place with the stay command. I am wanting to have one of the pets (Sid) follow me.
So I type out /tellpet (Sid) Follow. All 3 pets follow me.
Was this really old code for CH? Is it the expected behavior that they don't work in Sentinel Republic?
Thanks,
Aktar
