Suggestion on 24 hour timer reset for premature character creation attempt.

First of all, I am totally in agreement that we should only be able to make a new character once every 24 hours, for obvious anti-abuse reasons. But, I have twice screwed myself by trying to create a toon maybe 23 hours later, not remembering exactly when I did the last one, and then having to wait another full day to create a new toon. It feels like punishment for making an honest mistake and I don't appreciate that feeling.

Can't it just say your 24 wait period is still in effect and leave it at that?

We understand the frustration of this and I have tried to create a character before the time expired, thus meaning another 24 hrs to wait.

We are looking at ways to do this although it's not high on our priority list at present, we are considering though reducing the timer to only 12 hours to make it easier for people to create characters each day with less risk of them resetting their timer.

We will be trailing the 12hr timer on the 1 month anniversary weekend event to see how it impacts on several factors and make a decision soon after the event on this.
