ranged vs jedi

I think the ranged vs jedi needs to be turned up a bit, maybe 70% cap and 50% when stunned. The new numbers help but seem a bit underwhelming. Thoughts?

I don't think 1 ranged using regular ( ie non DOT ) weapons is going to take down a jedi anytime soon.
Though I wonder what 3 ranged vs 1 jedi would be like. I think should try this out before changing too much

Noted, I'm not against changing it either which way depending on feedback.
There's some really strong ranged weapons out there, when I tested against one of these, as a MLS/MFD, I got moderately hosed. The flip side was, the Jedi could take down the BH much easier and with less RNG. (All you need is some decent pearls and some combat spam)
As noted, DoTs really mix things up when it comes to balancing this.

As a Jedi, do you feel at all threatened by a ranged BH?
As a ranged BH, do you feel you even have a fair chance against a Jedi?

I agree with Awesome that the change is still underwhelming in my opinion, and MLS/MDEF jedi do not have to fear ranged bhs. I believe the buff should be turned up a bit more. That or give ranged bh some melee mitigation or something to make them less squishy to LS.

Yeah I agree. Even with the buffs to carbineer/pistoleer intimidate abilities, most ranged profs still lack substantial melee and state defenses (especially carbineer and riflemen).
On the other hand saberblock at 60% still feels too strong in a ranged matchup 1v1.

I have not tested 3v1, but 1v1 I could not see the ranged bh winning anytime soon unless they have a really nice DOT weapon. The change is in the right direction but still needs more of a push. Along the lines of the mitigation suggestion, Perhaps putting melee mitigation 1 at bh x44x. Otherwise I’d say just tweak the saber block down more like 70% and 50% like awesome said

I agree with previous posters, add melee mitigation 1 , but do it in Master Marksman box, as this may help with BH/mando builds as well, and other exotic ranged builds to fight jedi not necessarily BHs. More fun for all

Are these reports all accounts of ranged Bounty Hunters fighting Jedi? I'm looking for hard numbers based on actual encounters.
I toyed with Melee Mitigation 1 and the different was negligible at best. Maybe. There's frogs on test if you want to try it for yourself, just pick up MM1 from some other prof and see.
Ranged defense in general is pretty terrible, but that's a major overhaul, which isn't a possible solution at the moment.
Here's what I'd like to try next:
Lower base Saber block to 70%. Stunned state is -20%, bringing it down to 50%. Blind state is -10%, down to 40%.
Carbineers would need MBH to be able to blind, so instead of blind, I might make it Bleeding, since Pistol/Carb/Rifle all have access to that state type.

I did testing with a friend on TC one as a ranged bh with blue frogs and the other as a Jedi. And the Jedi still seemed to block most of the shots and kill the ranged easily. However I didn’t test melee mitigation, and I trust you when you say it won’t make a difference. I am confident what you suggested above should be sufficient enough for balancing with the blind and or bleed and the melee mitigation then wouldn’t be needed.
TL:DR I wholeheartedly agree with the tyclos suggestions as a good medium.
P.S. tested without DOT weapons however as we didn’t own any
