Ummmmmm... And? I AFK in my cantina everyday ever since I unlocked back in March. As has every other jedi in the game before this change came. What is your point?
My point of view, is that a Jedi Padawan who’s AFK at a shuttle in the middle of Wayfar, will, normally, see his visibility growing at the light speed and meet a dozen of BH in a really short Time... And then have all the chance to Die and loose Jedi xp at least !
But doesn’t matter!!! I just logged a couple of days before the new chapter. And I do not stay even I had in mind to make a Jedi. This chapter make me change my mind. And a couple of friend too.

I mean that Jedi who don’t want to be hunted can play another server. NGE for exemple.

I wish you all the best
Yep. Just like you and your friends can play on another server. It's obvious you've never played a jedi or this game before because jedi could always AFK anywhere and not get vis. That didn't change with this update.

All the best
I was an holocron unlock Jedi during the Permadeath and I never played with fire and try it.
The most of Jedi logged out in a house to be sure to not beeing hunted during the LD Time. And I never saw any of them AFK in a Town.

I Don’t think so on the original one but perhaps in sentinels.

This thing appart. That do not avoid the wonderfull job from the dev. This is a really Nice server. But this point is for me not acceptable.

All the Best

You obviously have no clue how visibility works.

You also obviously do not know how visibility works if you think that standing in a city results in visibility gain.

But hey, you believe what you want to believe.

Oof. Imagine quitting a server because they took away your ability to grief jedi, as if there aren't 24 other elite professions you could play. Shame on them for trying to make the server more fun and social for all, or for giving jedi a choice as to whether or not they want full temp, fully geared jackasses hunting them down at novice LS because they chose to have friends and play the game with said friends. How dare they not make the server exactly what you want it to be? Maybe they should give all jedi instant, constant visibility so that you can be a coward all you'd like?

It truly amazes me how petty some bounty hunter players are capable of being. It's a video game. You'll get over it. But tbh if this is something you'd leave the server over, then maybe the server is better off not having you on it. Good luck on Basilisk.

Obviously a fresh and hot topic.

Obviously some want to be able to complete their template without the risk of being found by a BH (or without the need to remember to keep 32m from NPCs/players when using abilities) and I guess do the themepark rides in the server without the worry of unplanned PVP.

This I guess is personal preference. I prefer the added element of risk. It keeps me on my toes.

My worry is that what'll actually happen is that some people now go try jedi, discover that it isn't as OP as expected and then demand more and more power-ups. Perhaps that comes with the FRS? i dont know. I've also read that they don't want to do the FRS here.

I think that the interplay between Jedi and BH is good overall but that perhaps the Jedi needs to get more from it - at least an xp boost for winning or something - like something to make fighting worthwhile. As it is, we simply have a removal of a mechanic.

It is easy to complain from the sidelines though. We will see how it pans out.

I do hope that we end up giving jedi more reasons to be overt. Even something as simple as - you can be overt while doing template and you get xp bonus. that way its a real choice.

It’s sure that Jedi initiate and Padawan do not generate visibility is a good thing for them but :

Are you sure to not see growing Jedi everywhere in the galaxy if they do not have any hidden challenge ?
This server is BH pro-active. They will lost a big part of Job!

Can somebody explain from wish réflexion this decision come from ?

Thanks the devs for all and big job you do!

Does, in this game, Jedi not being hunted just because of the 66 order? Normaly they are hunted because they're Jedi... so ... it's a part of the game... when a player follow the Jedi path, he accept to be hunted and killed or kill the BH.... that's the Jedi path...

The suppression of the visibilty is a open door of Jedi proliferation and I think that not the correct Role Playing of the timeline...
Dev's could say this timeline is in the new republic era, and after the return of the Jedi, and the empire is defeated, and before the force awakens saga which is plenty of room to play within that timeline. so now Jedi are no longer in hiding done fixt! easy! =p

From what was said everyone has a choice to opt-in and out of PVP except Jedi. Being jedi is one of the worst, and worthless class in PVP next to carbineer outside of M.healer / M.enchancer builds which is not even able to do combat. it was a good decision in terms of design fairness.

Thing is, they didn't take away your risk. If you like getting hunted, you still can. Type /pvp twice and do all of your activities like you normally do. The only thing this update did was take away the ability for bh's to beat up on half temp padawans and pve-ers. There are Knights running around and there is pvp going on. So there are people on the terms. BHs aren't starving for bounties. They just don't get to bottom feed anymore.
