Continuing in a series of guides on Taanab.

Taanab Defense Force Outpost

Planet: Taanab
Location: /way 6050 3700

Map:

The Taanab Defense Force Outpost is fairly straightforward. To save yourself time and headache, the only way into the outpost is across the bridge. (Green long thin rectangle to the South/top left of pictured map)

Difficulty: 1/5
This is also an easy location. However, you will still want to utilize LoS because occasionally some of the mobs will start to hit harder. My theory is that some of them have stun rifles/pistols. I can round up almost all of them usually with absolutely no issue and other times I can get into trouble. I've taken a trip to the cloner from here a couple of times.

Difficulty Description:
  • 1/5 - Soloable creatures/mobs and should provide you little to no trouble
2/5 - Soloable but with some difficulty
3/5 - You will need a hunting partner(s) to complete
4/5 - You will need a small group
5/5 - You will need a group with healer

WalkThrough:
As I've stated before this is extremely straightforward. There are no codes, puzzles or mechanics associated with this location. It is simply a set of kill houses where you're Jason Voorhees cutting them down to whatever song you choose at the time. (I think K-pop is fitting for this location)
I did not take screencaps of all the houses because they are the typical mini house layouts that you are extremely familiar with.
With the new leashing from the last update you can NOT aggro them all outside without losing mobs.
Simply run inside get a hit and move on to group them up.
I've learned I have to split it into 3 groups outside/above ground and usually drag the mobs into the buildings.

The Bunker is a smaller one pictured below. In this bunker you can *usually* group them all up without leashing any.
To do this, grab mobs from both circular rooms from the entry and pop on over to the large rectangular room at the TOP-Right to say a quick hello to everyone in there. You SHOULD be able to drag everyone over to the TOP-Left rectangular room and LoS them around the corner to stack them up. (This is where you should pay attention to your health and how they are hitting you. If it appears they are hitting harder than normal, you'll want to split this up into 2 spin/fan/dervish to win groups.)
