I wanted to move the this weekends event itinerary to a more fitting location. And, without further ado...

Player Events
For Friday, August 31st

10AM est/3PM GMT Fireworks show, and Free Buffs Begin!

Bring your favorite fireworks package and help to light up the sky over Mos Potatoes. The event begins as soon as it gets Dark.

2PM est/7PM GMT Expedition to Kaas

Get in the Group to storm the planet of Dromund Kaas! We will be doing speed runs in the Gundark Cave, and through the Prophet Trooper Garrison, as well as any other Points the group may want to slaughter! All Loot will be random.

7PM est/Midnight GMT The Friday Night Fights!

Once more unto the breach, dear friends; Once more! Enter the fray, Father against son, brother turn on brother, Rebel versus Imperial, hunter taking prey. No buffs! No Quarter! Total Chaos! *stay tuned for futher information*

Travel the galaxy, meet new and interesting species, and kill them then loot their bodies.

2PM est/7PM GMT The Mos Potatoes Grand Prix

Come and Experience one of the most grueling races in the Outer Rim, so treacherous that not even the Cloud Racers of Bespin dare enter. Do you have the stomach and skill to compete for the coveted Grand Prize?

5PM est/10PM GMT TBA by our Favorite Resident Wookie, Chompbacca!

As always, this promises to be tons of fun.

11PM est/4AM GMT SWG Dungeon Crawl

Come and join the group as we explore places like the Death Watch Bunker, The Geo Caves, and anywhere else the group wished to go. All loot will be random.

****Please note: Though this is a player function, and not a server sanctioned event, we request that all Bounty Hunters Leave any Jedi taking part in one of our player events unmolested, unless it is a PVP event and the Bounty Hunter adheres to the rules of said event. Failure to comply with this request will result in the immediate Banning of said individual from all further events for the weekend as well as a 30 day ban from the city and the Cantina.

10AM est/3PM GMT Assault on Jakku

Come and Join the Raid on the dessert planet and give those bloody droids a good What-For! Oh, and let's also get some loot. All Loot will be Random.

3PM est/8PM GMT SREmu event -- Rancors, Rancors everywhere... Brought to us by our own Coz!

Location to be announced by our favorite Sunday Event Coordinator.

6PM est/11PM GMT SWG Galactic Treasure Hunt

Clues start dropping about a Separatist Ship that, during the times of the Clone Wars, made a daring escape that led the Republic on a game of cat and mouse across the galaxy. Laden with treasures the captain had plundered, the ship moved far to slow. Fearing capture, the crew slowly started dumping its cargo after every jump from Hyperspace. Will you be able to put the clues together and plunder its cargo?

The Friday Night Fights
Kicks off at 7PM est/Midnight GMT on August 31st

This is a Steal the Flag competition. There will be 2 Cloning facilities set up on opposite sides of the flag, each equipped with its own faction recruiter. Come buffed and store your clone data in the appropriate cloning facility. Please send an in-game mail to Teemo so you get credit for the event. Please, only one character per account. This event will be broken up into 3 phases.

Phase 1) Time limit 30min: Each group of overt members start inside the their cloning facility. Once the command is given, each side races to secure the flag. Once a member is killed, they should re-spawn and attempt to rejoin their compatriots. The winning side is the side that holds the flag the longest.

Phase 2) Starts 5 minutes following Phase 1. Time Limit 30min: Unbuffed Jedi Only! Prove your merit as a Jedi Knight or a Sith Lord. All Jedi must be unbuffed (and yes, we will check) at the start, though consumption of food is allowed once this phase begins. Game rules follow Phase 1.

Phase 3) Starts 5 minutes following Phase 2 Time Limit 30min: No Jedi! Come Buffed! Game rules follow Phase 1.

All participants will be entered into a lottery for the events Grand Prize drawing. 1st place being a Pod Racer!

The vendor will also be selling commemorative fishing poles.

The Mos Potatoes
1st Annual Grand Prix
Kicks off tomorrow at 2PM est/ 7PM GMT

This race will be with Swoops only. Bring your own, or you may purchase a low cost vehicle in the cantina just before the race starts. Be warned, if you're attached to the one you have, you may want to use a cheap replacement.

Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers!

Over 2.5 million credits in prizes up for grabs, and of course, all participants will earn a chance to win the Pod Racer at the end of the Event Weekend!
