Effects of 5x exp on the village grind

Is the combat exp method still superior? Or is it so fast to get weapon-specific exp it no longer matters?

i would say it doesnt matter, as a swordsman grinding through it capped my sowrds experience and my combat experience just doing rancors, so give er both ways bud
