Armor Question for Smuggler

Hello all, I've been on the server for a couple of weeks now and my 1st character is my first love on SWG Smuggler.
Figured out my template I'm going to be using and so on.. what I'm still pondering about is armor. For Smuggler I'd like to not use armor or as little as possible. that being said. My template is going to be maybe this will help answer the question.
Master Smuggler
Master Pistoleer
Master TK
Marksman x4x1
Brawler 4xxx
Now with TKM could I get away without using armor? I forget since precu what it was.
Again as I said I'd like to get away with as little to no armor as I can...
I would also like to say thanks for having such a great server. I'm enjoying every second spent here it being solo grinding or people I've met.

Hey Vaako,

You can always not use armor, however it is definitely recommended. It all depends on what you are fighting as well. If you are fighting mobs like prophet troopers/minions you'll want to use armor. If you are farming jantas,rancors you'll want to wear armor as it drastically reduces the damage you take. Just purchase you a mini suit.

As a TKM/Fencer/Brawler I routinely run Janta-level missions without armor. YMMV

On my Smuggler did master Smuggler master Pistoleer and master TK.
Ive been able to hold off a lot of mobs without armor but higher end I'm still having problems with even buffed with armor.
I will say the dodge on this setup is insanely great!

Been looking at the BH Pistoleer Smuggler build but I'd loose a lot taking away TKM. But also gaining on Pistols with this build.

been ffocusing more on my CH as of late.. I came back to SWG from years of playing Ark so I figured CH will give me some fun. Just having problems picking a build now.. but I'll submit that on the CH part of the forum
