Mountain Clan Witches vs. Gotal

Hello!

I am a brand new player very excited to hop back into SWG after so long. I was just making up a character and am seeing that two races have a lot of creature handler bonuses, the Gotal and the Singing Mountain Clan Witch. It seems like the Witches are better in terms of bonuses than the Gotal and i was wondering if i am missing something?

The Witches get:
+100 to Health, Strength, Con, and all the others.
+1 Additional pet
+5 Taming wild creatures
+5 Taming Vicious Creatures
+10 Max level of pets
+4 stored pets
+10 healing range (huge for CH)
+10 Ranged injury treatment speed
+10 Combat medicine use

Gotal get:
+100 to Health, Strength, Con, and all the others.
+10 Creature Taming Bonus
+5 Stored Pets
+10 Creature Knowledge
+10 Creature Harvesting

The witches get +1 additional pet. Does that mean two pets out at once (but still limited by max pet level)?
They also get +10 max levels, which instantly makes them the best pet race. Then they also get huge ranged healing bonsues.

The Gotal are better at the knowledge/harvesting side, but that seems pale in comparison to the +10 levels and healing the Witches get.

Are the witches by far the "best" combat pet race?

I went with the SMC witches for all of my toons. The CH bonuses are nice. That is the way would go. It really the only way to tame higher end creatures. I started a guild of just SMC CHs and just created a player city on Rori.
